Colin studied illustration but now works mainly in animation, currently one of the artists on the hugely successful Despicable Me franchise.
He illustrated The Poison Diaries by the Duchess of Northumberland in 2004, and further collaborations with author Martin Howard. He now works in the UK in animation, most recently on the hit Disney movie Gnomeo and Juliet.
His first picture book is a stunning twisted retelling of Jack & the Beanstalk (Templar, 2012).
