Debi Gliori was made in Glasgow many years ago, and has been drawing and writing since she could hold a pencil. To her great good fortune, several publishers have paid her to do this.
Debi has written and illustrated over seventy picture books, many of which are beloved in hearts and homes all round the world. More recently her older fiction, including the Pure Dead and Witch Baby series, have added to her many career highlights. She has been shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Award twice, the Scottish Arts Council Award and the Royal Mail Award.
