Many published authors come to the Caroline Sheldon Literary Agency mid-career.

We think we can be particularly useful to published authors we take on in the following ways:

• Advice on career paths, suggesting new directions as appropriate
• Advice on contracts
• Exploitation of film/TV rights
• Growing income
• Editorial advice where needed
• Feedback on what publishers are looking for and gaps in the market

To submit

We think email is the easiest way to approach us. Send your work to either Caroline Sheldon or Penny Holroyde. Use the subject line SUBMISSION—PUBLISHED AUTHOR/[TITLE OF WORK]/[AUTHOR NAME].

Attach at least three chapters of a manuscript or a number of different projects if appropriate. Also, give full details of your career so far and where you want it to go. To make sure we can access your work, please send text attachments in either Word or PDF format, and any illustrator artwork as jpeg files.
