Rosie Harris is the successful author of over twenty romance sagas which have captivated her readers. Set around Wales and Liverpool, her books focus on the 1920s and '30s, a period which fascinates Rosie and which she brilliantly recreates.

In her latest novel, Only Love Can Heal (Severn House), aristocrat Lieutenant Kate Russell falls for Robert Campbell, a staff driver whose rugged handsomeness and lack of breeding excite and intrigue her. Her parents reluctantly approve, as long as Robert climbs the ranks of the army. But when peace is declared and Robert achieves the rank of Major, Kate finds herself trapped by her parents' possessive demands and tormented by Robert's passionate but wayward love, fighting her own lonely battle to save her marriage and her reputation...

Rosie was born in Cardiff. After her marriage she lived on Merseyside before eventually moving south to Buckinghamshire. She has three grown up children, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and writes full time.
