Siân Sharp recently graduated from the MA in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Before this, she studied History of Art at UCL and worked as a bookseller, a TV listings writer and a school secretary.
She is currently working on a picture book entitled The Bunny Catalogue, inspired by her work during the course of her MA. Telling the story of the everyday life of bunny rabbits, from going shopping to fancy dress birthday parties, the book is a clear example of her signature unique blend of character, warmth and heart.
Siân loves drawing, storytelling, comedy, puppets and theatre. She likes to use scratchy ink nibs and delicate watercolours to create lively, quirky characters. Working out of her pretty cottage in Buckinghamshire, she is never happier than when heading out on a sketching expeditions to find new subjects to draw.
