Emma Clarke is an author, illustrator and teacher based in the south west of Scotland.
She began illustrating during the pandemic and has since completed the Goodship Illustration Picture Book Course.
Emma has worked on a number of private commissions and has spent time as a repeat pattern designer for a reusable nappy brand. Emma’s work is heavily influenced by her love of nature, memories from childhood and the world around her.
When Emma’s not teaching in school, reading to her own two children, or busy working on stories, she can be found puffing and panting up hills whilst her dog looks back at her pityingly.
