Jobe Anderson is an award-winning illustrator who lives in Birmingham, UK. He graduated from Birmingham City University with a degree in Illustration and Visual Communication. He grew up watching a lot of cartoons and reading comic books and fell in love with the idea of creating worlds on paper.
Jobe is known for his quirky, humorous and relatable short comics as featured in The New Yorker. From 2021 he started his journey in the world of children’s illustration with his debut in Dapo Adeola’s award-winning book, Hey You! (Puffin). Jobe also illustrates The Secret Beast Club series (Puffin), written by Robin Birch.
Amongst others, Jobe has worked with the National Literacy Trust and Twitter.
